Hi Karen, how nice to see you, though I'm sorry you are having such struggles at the moment. Unfortunately, despite my arduous efforts, I have yet to find an anti anno domini creepeth on a bit, magic potion that doesn't stop my longing for it for all of us Seriously though, I don't think you can put the falls down to your age, I know I take the odd tumble here and there (stop giggling
everyone ) but that is down to my own wish to be more independent than I possibly should be, I think you need to have a word with your doctor again if you are falling frequently without a cause, being 49 wouldn't in my eyes qualify as being old enough for falling without there being a proper reason.
I met the menopause as it were, with a bump, having had to have a hysterectomy in my mid thirties, now I am at the age where I would be expecting to experience such things the only thing that happens are hot flushes and excessive sweating, it I think most of that is down to medications.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble, I hope things start to improve a bit for you and I am sending positive vibes your way
Aww must be awful! I know every time I'm slightly run down my Fibro flairs up, its agony. Hope your menopause symptoms pass quickly and you feel a bit better soon :o)
I am so sorry to hear of all your problems and I sincerely hope that you can get some resolution as soon as possible. I had a really bad fall in November and broke two bones in my back and broke the right-side disc. I am still undergoing all kinds of treatments and surgery but as of yet, I am still walking with a tri-walker. I am 50 but I think its more the fibro than age.
, I have fbro, osteoarthrtitis, fibro, falls to name a few. I am 55 and my doc and hospital psychologist who has put the falls down to meds and fibro. I live alone so I have care call installed in case I have a fall and cant get up or really hurt myself .
