hi sallyanne i applied in june and had my assessment in august after a couple of cancellations on there behalf and im still waiting for a decision now ....cant beleive there making people wait so long, i myself dont get any other benifits and we are living in real hardship..i dont think this is the dwp fault but the healthcare people ( mines capita ) as they just seem to fob me off everytime i ring them.....hope you get sorted soon x
I know its stressful not knowing what's happening I was told the end of November they were in my area and I would receive an appointment letter in 2 weeks when I didn't receive an appointment I phone atos again I was told I'd receive an appointment very soon so I phoned back Christmas eve and they said there's no one in my area and they didn't know when I'd get an appointment.x
There is literature on this matter including decision making however I have a concern about what other information is collected. Eg lifestyle. Would they add to reports with things like " has television therefore living above means " or " children look unwell recommend contacting social services " I say this because its quite clear that like
Other benefits the iidea is to remove as many benefits from ppl as possible despite the consequences
I've been waiting since beginning of September. Was also told I'm on the list for a consultation when there's one in my area!! Maybe their Hopeing we will die in the meantime.
I applied in August, and just had Atos medical on Saturday and told I should hear in 2 week's, think it it a lit to do with the area you live in to, hope you hear soon.
Take care x
Had my home visit Monday with atos after contacting my mp she said I should get a decision in 2 weeks
