The “Village de Noël de Liège” (Christmas Village) has become one of Belgiums' most famous Chrismas Markets in Belgium, with wooden chalets offering gastronomic specialities, handicrafts and souvenirs

LIEGE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE: 29 Nov–30 Dec 2013 Place St Lambert & Place du Marché.

During 4 weeks, 200 hundred wooden chalets will offer various products including gastronomic specialities, handicrafts and souvenirs.

OUTDOOR ICE RINK (29 Nov – 30 Dec 2013) Place de la Cathédrale

Set up in the heart of Liège's huge pedestrianised zone, the ice rink will be surrounded by lots more shopping, eating and drinking opportunities.

I will be wearing pink thermal everything's , thermal onesie, a faux mink hat and lots of pink everywhere........you don't think I like pink do you ? Cross I can't get a pink back brace, how unthoughtful of the makers !!

I make a mean gluwhein , so I'll do some of that for the journey and a hot non-alcoholic variety too for those who can't drink with their meds

I'll bring my portanueclearreactor, so that should keep us all warm and a pop up memory foam igloo that people can crawl into, it's magic, like the tardis, and is much bigger inside than out and filled with all sorts of comfy cosy things.

I like the sound of the gluwhein, very nice and warming. Bang goes the diet as I am fully intending to have Bratwurst sausage hot dogs with lots of onions mmmm....

I have a Mary Poppins bag which you can load up forever and never gets heavy, just need to make sure I take enough magic money!
