SIDE. My son has whipped back his nos9 wellies. Does anyone else have the problem of having to use a large fitting shoe on the affected foot to stop the inevitable burn when it's constricted? Thx

What's dactylitis?

I cannot bear anything constricting my feet, although it doesn't hurt to actually touch them. I wore fit flops when I needed shoes but that's no good now in the cold weather. Everything feels like lead weights, even slippers! I have swollen ankles & was given support stockings but I can't wear them because of the constriction around my feet.

Not sure really - will try to explain & you can see if it similar. 2 of my toes on my right foot are always swollen - very painful to walk on - they swell even more. With shoes ..they go for the BURN - which gets unbearable. Pains like glass digging in behind these toes sometimes. It's just been one-sided for 15 yrs now. Doesn't feel hot to touch but feels hot to me & looks it. Can't stand even a sheet on it at night. Feels bruised sometimes ....could go on but given you the gist! My foot is now bigger & wider than the other. Hope you sort your prob ....pretty sure I'm stuck with mine.x happy rest of the day to you. ann

Sounds like nerve damage in your feet..If you haven't talked to

your doctor about that burning feet, feels hot but isn't...that's

the earliest stage of neuropathy..It may be something as simple

as you're lacking B12 or it could get worse..Is there a chance

that you are diabetic? For the swollen feet and ankles..get the

legs and feet up higher than your heart..so that the fluid can

drain back to the other direction...At the very least, call your

doctor to let them know that the feet get swollen and espeically

the burning feet, exactly as you described on here..

hi, I'm the same as you regarding our feet, the only way I can cope with winter is wearing my ugg boots, you don't wear socks with them as they work better without. they keep your feet cool in the summer and keep them warm in the winter. they are easy to put on and take off, I know they are expensive but compared to all the shoes we purchase and are not any good these are the best solution, I purchased a couple of pairs that are new but also I purchased some off a well known auction site, I hope this helps xxxxx

Hi Ann, yes I agree with you, it's so nice to know there is someone else going through the same thing :( I have been going through a really bad fibro flare at the minute that's leaving me exhausted, I try not to give in, fingers crossed it will pass soon, gentle hugs to you xxxx

& to you too. Sorry to tell you this but I've just walked round the block reasonably pain free - but with this you have to get the most out of the better moments. Yay !!! X ann
