Hi everyone. I have fibro and arthritis and ichthyosis(skin cond.born with) its always a battle between all 3 for right treatment.

I have had clinical depression since 14yr old. My GP struggles to help and im now seeing mental health team. But itfeels like im going round in circles. Nothing realy gets "looked at" properly. Any ideas anyone? 44yrs old now but nothing improved since i was 28. History of intercranial hypertension and essential hypertension. X

Hi there,are you new to this site?If you are a very warm welcome This is a wonderful site full of caring and supportive people,we try to help each other and even have a laugh too which helps to ease the pain and frustrations of living with this condition and others.I have found that it has helped me emmensley,don't think I spelt that right!I too have had depression since I was 13 so I understand how hard it is sometimes.Could you try finding a different g.p as this is what I did recently and I now have a lovely g.p.Are you taking any meds and have you been referred to a rheumatologist?I think these should be good starting places.also,the pain management course may be of some help to you too.If you read fibro actions pages there is a lot of heful information that you may find useful.If you ever want to chat then feel free to message me.Hope I've been of some use to you x

Hi thank you so much. I have been a memberfor a while but first time to leave a post. I often read this site. Very nice people on here. Just wasnt confident enough to post till now. Rheumatologist diagnosed fibro five years ago. Had arthritis since 14yrs old. I think your right about seeing different GP . I am greatful for your kind and helpful advice. I will read it again to set it in my head. Thank you x

On amitriptyline. mirtazapine. clopidogrel. omerprazole .codeine. losartin. diltzem sr . Betahistine.emolients and oils for ichthyosis.

Hi there michabc, welcome to our caring, sharing, happy friendly fibro club, lol this is a terrific site ful of very caring people, we are al here for each other, and we have great volunteers who try to make a our days less stressful the best way they can even tho they are going thru the same pain as all of us, they have great virtual days out, do join us it great fun and a great laugh, do post whatever comes in to your head whilst on the trip, it's a good laugh....look forward to your posts..gentle hugs....Dee x
