Oh good...there is someone else up and awake at this time of the morning! I can hear howling wind, fortunately I can go back to bed and get up when I want. Hope my husband will be alright driving to work.......

Well here it has passed on through the night. We weren't badly affected at all. I think it hit the north coast of Cornwall more than down here. We actually have calm seas and sunshine here so if it's still with you, there is calm to come.

Luckily, here in North Wales, we seem to have escaped the storm. It was a little windy in the night and a few light showers but nothing as awful as some people have had it!! I have to say I would have been terrified I think!!

Glad that storm has passed from what we are hearing it was not as bad as we expected it to be.. I live in Essex and it was not to bad was watching the trees as I look out my windows all I see is some rubbish that has been blowing around and the only problem I have is that the felt on my garden shed is now on the grass so I escaped the worse here's hoping that you all have minor things happen if anything....

My thoughts go out to the family of the 14 year old boy that was swept out to sea xxx
