Does anyone have the sensation sometimes in their feet as they are walking that all the muscles have gone and that there is nothing there to hold the bones in i know the muscles are there, just not working, and I know the bones will be held in when I put my foot down BUT the other half of my brain says NO!!!! The foot seems to go floppy and can take quite a while for the muscles to start working again.
The other is that frequently when I lay down, as I am going down the muscles in my chest spasm making it impossible for me to move or even finish laying my back down. After a few minutes the spasms go and I'm fine again.
Am I weird or is this normal???

hi ,i dont get chest pains..but i do have funny feet!..not funny ha ha funny peculiar!..the only way i can describe it is its like when you walk on ice and your foot slips..its that sensation...i know!!! bonkers lol..i am tee total so its not that! xxx
Yes the chest spasm has hospitalised me twice! Now I know it is called costochrondritis and though I might have misspelt it it's a name we need to remember as it will save the trauma of being in a high dependency heart ward! It's likely to be treated with an anticoagulant as I understand now - but it was an awful day last time I went in! I really thought I was having a heart attack. No fun and such an upset to my day to day living.
I have felt that acupuncture helped me for a general boost to my energy levels but I did have to pay privately. My physiotherapist does it for me along with ultra sound and massage every 6 - 8 weeks. The total treatment is worth it to me ( I do have some health insurance to cover half the cost) which helps a bit.
Thanks everyone, this is really helpful. I will have another talk with the nhs physio when I see her next week. I wont get acupuncture till nearer the end of my treatment.
