dont quote me on this, but if you are getting dla @ high (enhanced) rate mobility and high (enhanced) rate care you would be unlikely assessed as able to work at all, in which case it would be worth applying for the new Universal Credit?

There is a website where you can (anonymously) check your circumstances to see which benefits you should be entitled to. Cant quite remember, might be worth googling Benefits Agency to see what comes up. In the meantime, I'll see if I can find it and I'll message you.

Hi I get the DLA high rates and I got called in for an ESA assessment and thankfully had a good Dr who done mine so got put into support group so I guess just because you get DLA it don't automatically put you into a support group x

Hi there,I have been getting high rate DLA care and mobility for a few years now.I still get incapacity benefit with an income support top up.I get a bit extra on my benefit called a severe disability premium.I think I get about 221 every two weeks and about 78 every two weeks as well. The first is incapacity and the second is income support. However I've been informed that it will change to ESA and in the letter I got it said it will probably be the same rate.Iam a single parent with two kids so I probably get a bit extra for them as well x

No,I had a letter and a form to fill in but I haven't heard from them yet.Ive been reading some aweful things on here about people's experiences with them so Iam not looking forward to being asked to attend a medical.Does everyone have to go to a medical?
