I attended an ATOS interview in January and still havent heard anything back from them. I am still getting ESA OF £71 per week and am too scared to call them to see whats happening as I found the whole experience terrifying. I was wondering if anyone else has had to wait so long for a reply?
Many thanks x

i had an assessment in november last yr and didnt hear anything till feb this yr and i am now going to a tribunal, I think they have so many to get through thats what takes so long although i hope im wrong in ur case.
The normal assessment phase timeline for ESA is 13 weeks and the DWP have to award ESA in this time. There are quite often delays due to ATOS and the DWP are aware of this. There is no need to worry as they will make their decision in time and any back pay due (if placed in the WRAG or Support) will be repaid to you. I know its stressful and becomes upsetting but try not to worry they will sort things in time. Good luck.
