Feeling down and frustrated today :-)

I am awaiting FET. I have to start a period which was due yesterday before Ivf team can prep me for FET. I havnt been late for period for years normally I am anything upto a week early every month. I have had all usual cramps etc for a week now but no period, today I just feel so down and exhausted.

Hi there, I think you might be feeling stress and that can be a big reason for getting late with your period, especially when you are waiting for it so consciously..... or may be you are pregnant Do not be upset, everyone feel sad or frustrated in one point or another, it is time which will pass and hopefully the outcomes will be positive for you.

Hiya aaziatkata, I don't think it is pregnancy, I think you were right the first time in saying it is stress related to waiting. I am feeling very hormonal. I rang Ivf Wales, they told me to give it until Wednesday, if I don't see anything, do a test and ring them back. The feelings for a period keep coming and going.

It is so difficult not to be stressed isn't it. I feel like all I do is wait anxiously - there is always a next stage. Hope you feel better and wishing you luck with the FET. X

Thank you piperfan think its just hormones. It is so frustrating waiting. I was rather tearful this morning but have settled down a bit this afternoon.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. The waiting is one of the hardest things in this process, isn't it? I am thinking of you, and remembering how supportive your posts have been to me. I do hope that things begin to move forward for you soon.

Thank you noper, it is hard waiting, I am just so glad that I am able to talk to people on here who understand as most my family and friends offer a sympathetic ear but they don't really understand. I appreciate that they care but they can't give advice or help in the way that you guts can. I hope everything goes well for you noper.
