I am currently under the hospital as I am unable to conceive due to not ovulating. Has anybody experienced this problem before and have you conceived ???

Hiya my daughter has pcos and doesn't have periods. Tried dianette to bring a period on. But even with this she still doesn't ovulate. Even tho ovulation kit shows she does. The gp done blood test which say she doesn't. Its so frustrating. Nothing seems to be getting done or said tho. My daughter loves children and is so hurt about it all. She is 20. 21 in April. So I truly feel for every 1 who is avin problems conceiving. Hope everything goes well for you all.

Hi. Good to know that you have had a referral for investigation and hopefully any treatment if necessary. Often when someone is diagnosed with inability to ovulate, a drug called “Clomid” is tried, providing that your tubes are OK and your partner’s sperm count is within normal limits. However, this will depend upon your consultant’s findings and decision. This will also depend upon your local PCT’s (Primary Care Trust) criteria for fertility treatment e.g. age, length of trying, female weight etc. If you have a look at our website infertilitynetworkuk.com and go to the “NHS Funding” page, you will see an “interactive map” which will give you information about your PCT when you “hover” over your area. I do hope that your remedy if fairly simple and you manage to start any treatment needed, soon. Regards Diane
