My husband has azoospermia. We've been told our options are adoption or donor sperm. We are looking into donor but wanted to know if anyone else is in a similar situation? Really would like to speak to someone who is.

Anyone using donor sperm?
Hi. If you have a look at the Forums on our website infertilitynetworkuk.com you will be able to get in touch with people who are going through donor treatments. There is other information in the factsheets which you might find useful too. Kind regards Diane
Hi there. My husband was diagnosed with azoospermia and we are going to be using donor sperm. We talked long and hard about this and accepted this as our only way of having a child. We were both devastated initially but we've had counselling and talked with our families and we're very used to the idea now. I'm 37 and soon to start my first NHS IVF cycle, and my husband is being tremendously supportive. We so desperately want to be parents, and I know that my husband will be a great father, it doesn't matter that it's not biological; what matters is the love we'll both have if we're lucky enough to conceive. Of course I'm now feeling positive but also full of trepidation because of my low AMH and my age, I just want this to work so much. I hope that whatever route you choose brings you success, it's nice to hear from somebody in a similar position!
Hi! me and my husband are sadly going to the same situation! I found the idea very hard at the beggining and then we went and spoke with a councellor and that helped.
It is still hard to digest and I think it will take a while until we will start the process.
For me it is very hard to talk about it even with my husband sometimes. I was looking for a while for a forum where I can speak with people that are going to the same situation hoping this will help me.
