Legal 365 is an established law firm who believe that not every case requires face to face contact. So, they have built a website that allows people to create bespoke legal documents, 24 hours a day.

They have hundreds of different documents for just about every need including will making and leaving a legacy to charity.

Many people leave small or indeed substantial amounts to their favourite charity in their will, and we hope that I N UK members might remember their charity in some way when they are making or changing their will

When leaving a charity bequest or legacy in your Will, the charity' s name address and charity number is used in full. Where abbreviations are used, a bequest can be deemed doubtful if contested at a later stage and may require direction from the Treasury Solicitor, which may involve the Executors of the Will additional trouble and possible expense.

If you decide to make a bequest (and this online service makes that so easy to do) the following wording should be used to ensure your wishes are accurately followed:

If leaving a fixed sum of money use the following wording:

I give the sum of £** pounds to The Infertility Network UK, Registered Charity No: 1099960 and the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of The Infertility Network UK shall be a complete discharge to my Executors.

If leaving a percentage of your estate use the following wording:

I give **% of the residue of my real and personal estate which I can dispose of by Will in any manner I think proper to The Infertility Network UK, Registered Charity No: 1099960, of Charter House, 43 St Leonards Road, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, TN40 1JA and the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or the proper officer for the time being of The Infertility Network UK shall be a complete discharge to my Executors.

You may never have considered leaving money to charity when making your will, but it is becoming more common for people to do this, so please do consider it when you make your will or next make changes to your will. Legal 365 can make it all so easy so have a look today at their website legal365.com

Code:INUKfree is the promotional code which will enable members to create completely free online Wills (referred to as DIY on LEGAL365.com).

Hi Rosie

If you share the link to here then it is raising awareness of the blog site and not just the offer - I think that will be OK, if it's not I'll let you know.
