I'll start this week with an apology, unforseen glitches with our website software have delayed all of the planned works from taking place. but hopefully you'll see the differences to our forums later this week.
Clare spent last week making sure her presentation was ready for the European Society of Human Reproduction 7 Embryology - ESHRE conference taking place in Stockholm. You may have seen an increase in the number of fertility related news articles and it is often the place to introduce newly published research papers. As soon as our website editing software is online 'reader' friendly news items from the UK press will be added to the website.
In the meantime you can see more news and information for all stories coming out of ESHRE here: eshre.eu/annual_meeting/pag...
Susan has been busy working with the National Infertility Awareness Campaign and finding case studies for planned media articles before going on holiday. We hope she has a super time and look forward to her returning on Wednesday 13th in her new role as Deputy Chief Executive.
This week we welcome on board a new member of staff - Cindy joins us as Business Development Manager. We hope she has a long, happy and successful future as part of the team. This week Cindy will be settling in and travelling up to Scotland to meet Sheena our Head of Business Development and Gwenda our Scottish Branch Co-ordinator.
Sheena has been continuing to work with plans for this years Fertility SHow taking place in November. You can now stay up to date with what's being planned by following the fertilityshow on twitter: twitter.com/#!/fertilityshow or on their facebook page: facebook.com/mobileprotecti... (you need to be logged in to view.)
Booking on the Fertility Show website will open shortly, several people have shared it helps to know that there's something planned ahead especially when waiting following referral.
Sharon & Fiona are both working with regional groups; don't forget events and groups are planned for all parts of the charity, for anyone experiencing infertility through I N UK, for those who have moved on or not emabrked on treatment and access support through More To Life and for anyone parenting (by any means) following infertility through ACeBabes.
If you've not visited a group or get together yet why not try, it's often really helpful to be able to speak to tohers in similar situations.
We welcome Claire back from her holiday, she has got straight back down to making sure the next members magazine includes lots of helpful and useful information. If you're not yet a member you can join online here: infertilitynetworkuk.com/sh...
As soon as our website changes have taken place I'll add another blog...
Do keep an eye out for changes that will make our online community bigger, busier & better for you!
