We're trialling a new group for those who are pregnant, feel free to share anywhere appropriate - thanks!
This is an online support meeting for those who are pregnant after having had difficulty conceiving
Fertility Network has noticed there's a gap in support for people who are now pregnant but have been through a difficult conception process. We understand that pregnancy doesn't take away what you've experienced or your infertility.
Please join us for our first online meetup to discuss your feelings and thoughts, and to connect with other women who understand.
Great idea! I’m current 16 weeks with our first from one round of icsi! There isn’t much support out there for people who have struggled so this is brill xxx
That’s such a good idea. I also really struggled with anxiety throughout my pregnancy & didn’t feel supported/understood our struggle, midwife did not get it at all. Hopefully this can help others & sure they’ll feel grateful for the extra support xx.

Great idea, after struggling with infertility I never could fully relax and enjoy being pregnant as I was so worried that something would go wrong given my history. I found it really hard communicating this to friends as I never could fully open up about my fertility issues but the forum has been a massive help and still is ♥️
I think this is a great idea too. Nothing prepared me for the anxiety that would come with pregnancy after infertility. ‘Normal’ pregnancy groups just don’t get it, and it feels inappropriate posting about it on the main infertility board x
Not pregnant (hopefully one day) but after years of infertility and treatment I can see this would be so helpful. Think it would be hard not to worry after everything we’ve all gone through to get there xx
That’s a great idea. I suffered from severe anxiety during my pregnancy and needed to have prenatal counselling. This was purely because I hadn’t told people about the IVF and therefore they didn’t understand the fear that surrounded the pregnancy. If there was a forum to open up I think it would have given me the support network I needed.x
