So I'm 4 weeks pregnant, beta was on thursday and got a 1-2 week result on same day. Today with my second diluted wee I got a 3+ result 😱 not sure whether this means anything but after getting a positive 34 hours after transfer.. I'm questioning whether there are 2 which is petrifying as my body struggles to manage one let alone 2!

Hi there, I think you should look at the levels of your beta to see if they are higher than average and even then it might mean nothing. At 6 weeks my beta was over 18000 and I know people at the same week have lower or higher levels with one embryo. Did you have 2 transferred?

No just one transferred. However they think my pregnancy was identical twins (misscarraige at 8 weeks) . However my clinic dont really go by numbers and neither do I as I know how much they vary. However having a positive 34 hours after transfer..

I found this article useful on what the levels were for those tests. Judging by this, you shouldn’t have got the 1-2 week and instead should of got 2-3 based on your beta so might just have been a bad test!

Just seemed to jump quickly! And now looking at hcg levels I'm worried about a molar pregnancy 🙈 cant deal with myself sometimes 🤣😅

I think you only need 2000-2500ish to trigger the 3 weeks so based on you getting 550 beta on Thursday that seems about right?

I wouldn’t worry too much, I know that’s difficult! I think molar pregnancies are very rare with IVF xx

Yeah is says usually 2900 with clear blue and considering it was a very diluted second wee after a litre of water I think it must be quite high. Not concerned with today's test more apprehensive though with regards to my beta. First scan can't come quick enough. I've been here 3 times.. youd think it gets easier but it really doesnt 😓

Tell me about it! Mine is this Thursday 🙏🏻 My first beta was 1000 so I think they just vary a lot!

I know it’s difficult but try not to overthink it too much or the next two weeks will be even worse for you then the last two 😘

I must admit I'm not as anxious for each appointment like i was my last pregnancy however that is probably because distracting myself this time as dont want to be too emotionally attached yet after the trauma of my last pregnancy. How many dpt wer you?

12dp I think! I have had awful nausea since 5+2 as well 😩 Not sure why it’s called morning sickness because it’s all day! But I hear it’s a good sign for hormones so I’m taking it 😂 xx

Ahh so mine shouldnt have been much higher on the same day, if it doubles in 48 hours mine will have been roughly 1250-1300 at 12dpt. I'm hoping this pregnancy follows suit of my previous 2 in regards to nausea Haha. Only had it for a few weeks - it was worst in a morning and with emptying commode at work Haha but thankfully never actually threw up!

Yeah I’ve not actually been sick yet just feeling very nauseous and heaving a lot 🙈 it’s literally all day every day though, the only thing that helps is bloody bread 😂

Although it’s awful, if it suddenly disappeared now I’d probably freak out!

My last pregnancy all my symptoms disappeared like overnight at about 8-9 weeks! Freaked me out but my son was perfectly fine and dandy Haha. (Unfortunately lost him due to another reason much later on) yeah I only ever dry heaved.. was flipping painful Haha! Spearmint chewing gum was my best friend!

Just one if those things unfortunately. We had a bad placenta. But yeah symptoms or no symptoms - it's all a pain! Haha x

Ok alright thanks! Got a negative 7dp5dt so think I'm out. Havent tested since, hubby keeps saying no and to be honest I dont want to see another negative!!😫🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

Oh I'm sorry to hear that! No I dont blame you for not wanting to see those horrid blank windows.. oh how i have hoped for you!! We have both been on this journey too long and I just want to see us both at the other side of it!

Aww thank you! It's just a bit shit isn't it! I have come to the conclusion I just have a defective oven!!😂🤣 What will be will be, I guess it could change but I have had a late BFP before and they have higher miscarriage rates! I see you have a scan booked so keep us posted with your news!!xxx

I'm surprised I am here myself to be honest, I was seriously considering the surrogate route but financially it's such a massive investment and I figured I should at least use all my nhs transfers first as I'm lucky to recieve funding for 4 transfers x

Yeah that's an offer too good to refuse! You're an absolute trooper after all that you have been through, I cant even put into words how brave I think that you are!!💕💕 My husbands swimmers gotten so bad....that was a kick in a the bollocks if ever there was one it leaves us almost at the end! We have 1 embryo left from our very 1st donor and if I can convince my hubby to use it....I'm sure he'll come around then that'll be it for us! I do love to see a bloody good happy ending so I'll be on the sidelines cheering you on!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻xxx

I honestly dont mind how many as long as they ste healthy.. but more babies, more complications! No more blood tests, they only fo one and my first scan is in 10 days when I'm 6 weeks 1 day x
