Hello. I was wondering where people have got their vaginal microbiome test from and would they recommend. There are so many options out there with various price range and method of result(report, 1:1 consultation etc) I wonder which one is best to go for.

have done various and all have shown normal but I’m interested in a company in Greece called fertilysis. You can order and test from home. They’re doing some really cutting edge testing to get results for ladies who are getting no answers on this journey. They’re doing extensive biome testing and include through collecting period blood which is interesting. I’m considering their microbiome testing to cover my bases and get some answers as to why I’m not getting pregnancy. They have insta page so follow them there also but I’m excited about what they can offer women on this journey.

I used Fertilysis for a thrombophilia test and it turned out I did have hereditary thrombophilia. A mthfr gene mutation. They provide a free consultation, which i found really helpful. He told me not to bother having the microbiome test as he didn't think that was the problem and he was right, I have a 17 mth old now. I'd book a free consultation with them. Good luck

I’ve had one done with Melanie Brown.. I paid around £200 for the swab with invivo and then £80 for her to interpret the results.

She was very thorough and gave me a huge breakdown of what supplements to take and lots of discount codes for various supplement websites.

Our clinic is in Athens and uses fertilysis a lot for tests. We’ve had various tests with them in the past and had no issues. I want to do a repeat microbiome before my transfer so will probably use them as the results are quicker than with Melanie x

I used DAYE. It was recommended by my clinic and showed that I had less than 1% lactobacilli, while normal is over 80. I’m also taking their pills to get my levels up. It was a straightforward test to take and mail in. I don’t remember the costs.

I also used DAYE and test was only around £80. It showed I was low on lactobacilli so have me some answers but I think others companies like Fertiliysis are more comprehensive

are you interested in vaginal or uterine microbiome? As far as I know I think Fertilysis is the only one that looks at uterine microbiome as they test your menstrual blood.

if you do the DAYE test or a swab those would only look at the vaginal microbiome.

I could be wrong but that’s my understanding.
