TWW - Symptons getting better?!

Hi all, I'm half way through my TWW and am finding it quite difficult. I've noticed that the symptoms (sore boobs and bloating) I was experiencing before transfer and early after transfer seem to be going now. Is this a bad sign? I was so positive first few days after but with time going on and no symptoms I'm feeling less positive and more panicking it's not worked.

Hi Plenty of time for symptoms to reappear. Just keep up with all prescribed medication including folic acid and vitaminD. Drink plenty of fluids and test on the day recommended by your clonic. Keep busy and good luck. Diane

The symptoms you have experience at the beginning are more than likely due to the progesterone, I didn't starter feeling anything until I was 7 weeks pregnant....the only symptoms I had before were dizziness and mood change, the dizziness was what made me test 6dpt which thankfully was positive ❤️. I would say don't read to much into it, test if you feel that is the right thing and don't if you feel it won't help! We are all different ❤️

Wishing you all the best and keeping my fingers crossed for you! Sending love x

hello lovely. Honestly don’t beat yourself up about having symptoms or the lack off. Everyone is different and it is possible to get a BFP and a successful pregnancy without having any. I know it’s easier said than done to live in this hopeful and worried /unsure phase of the ivf journey but save yourself the angst and focus on looking after yourself and the things that make you happy. Go watch a movie/lunch with friends/book holidays/go shopping etc. I have a 14 week old after 10 years of infertility/IVF who we are so smitten with. I had zero symptoms during the tww so much so was on a flight abroad on test day as I just knew it didn’t work!. (We did a blood test that morning) and was flying out that evening. As I was packing I remember my husband and I going back and forth on should we pack meds shouldn’t we…pros and cons of having it etc etc. I had no symptoms during pregnancy either and I barely grew - it was only in the last month that the bump was noticeable. And she was normal size baby. So don’t worry about it now use your energy to focus on you instead.

if it makes you feel better. I have sore boobs and bloating and I am gutted cause they are my usual cues before i have my period! (I’m not no a 2WW just hoping that I conceive by some miracle before I start IVF)

Good luck! Have everything crossed for you x
