I did a pregnancy test with clear blue before the transfer and it came up positive due to Ovitrelle, very faint line. Certainly going to stop me testing too early lol. I took Ovitrelle on 29th July, I'm hoping it will be out of my system soon, it says 10 days 🤞

Hard to do but best wait till your OTD before retesting Try to keep yourself busy - reading - walking Eat well and drink plenty of fluids Remember to take any meds you were given as directed
Me too! I’m testing on Monday and am actually scared to test. I must be weird as I never have any urge to test early as I’m scared stiff of the result. It’s almost like not knowing is easier for me than the thought of seeing a BFN like I did last time. I’m quite happy to wait to test day 🙈😅
Totally get your fear and nerves, I think alot of people are similar.
I'm a very impatient person by nature so desperate to know if it's worked or not lol. I imagine if this one fails I'll be a lot more cautious next time.
Yes that’s my OFD. I think where I’ve been symptom spotting so much I’ve convinced myself it hasn’t worked but I think when you have failed attempts before it’s hard not to! Need to try and enjoy the time inhave knowing it could have. I was certainly in a much better situation this time, that’s for sure! Wishing you all the very best! 💜
Awww every chance and hope it'll be your dream positive ❤️🤞 wishing you the very best too!
What symptoms have you had or been looking out for? I always have twinges, aches, pains due do Adenomyosis and Endometriosis, I don't think I'd ever be able to tell the difference lol.
Oh really, how did you get that diagnosed? Sorry to hear that, I know that can be so hard to deal with.
I’ve had very sore boobs but had that since the oestrogen before transfer! I’ve had weird twinges, pokes etc on first few days after transfer (I did medicated FET) then after that, on and off mild cramps which felt like a period coming. No blood this time like last time but that’s probably the lubion. The breast pain also sometimes settles for several hours then once I put the pessary in it gets so sore again, so I’m positive it’s all the progesterone doing it to me. How about you? X
Laporoscopy and MRI diagnosis. Yes it's hell and my life is so physically stunted, pregnancy should be a massive reprieve from the pain, so desperate for a positive in more ways than one.
What is the Lubion for? I took Gonal F, Meriofert and Ovitrelle. Now just progesterone suppositories. I've had sore boobs too, but weirdly today, my boobs are normal. I'll see if it correlates with the suppository too.
Morning after transfer had a tiny spot of brown and freaked it was the Embryo, this morning had discharge that smelt like the Embryology lab, so freaked again lol. My partner bless him is being put through it.
But defo had more twinges, cramping and spasms, although not as painful as usual so hope something is going right.
Oh, yes I think my friend wants to get that as she’s convinced she has Endo and she already has PCOS but did get pregnant naturally! I remember how awfully in pain she was and how distressing it was. Even when she ate it caused pain. I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with that. It’s so much worse than people realise.
Yes, so on my fresh transfer I had the same as you but this was a frozen embryo transfer with an embryo from an April egg collection.
For this, you have to suppress ovulation with oestrogen and let the lining thicken. Then once it is, you start progesterone- I take both cyclogest and lubion injections as they’re all progesterone but I needed a bit more than the pessaries. After 5 days of progesterone they do the transfer.
The discharge doesn’t sound like a bad thing to me as many people who get that have positive results! Obviously it can be from the meds too but I wouldn’t worry about that being a negative thing necessarily!
I had one natural pregnancy in 2022 but miscarried then a failed fresh and not trying for frozen. I only get one embryo each time so it’s so expensive for me :/ xx
Praying all of us here have the best luck this time ! 🌻
Oh my your poor friend, PCOS brings so many issues, she's done well to get pregnant naturally ❤️, if she's suffering symptoms it'll definitely be worth checking in with a Gynae Consultant.
Oh wow, that's great news you know you can get pregnant ❤️, so so sorry to hear it ended in Miscarriage 💔 🙏here's hoping this FET will be positive for you. Only getting one embryo each collection must be so so difficult, do you know why?
Thank you for the information re FET cycle that's really helpful, hadn't looked into it at all. How long are you on the hormones for before transfer?
Yes definitely crossing everything for everyone to have their dreams come true this time x
Yes I think she’s going to see someone once everything settles down after birth.
Yes it has happened for me but it was a while ago and I have low AMH. I also have severe allergies so have been worrying I may have immune issues that cause issues as haven’t had tests for that yet. I think the low AMH mean I’ll never get many eggs so I have to just pray that the ones I do get are of good quality. My body doesn’t seem to respond well to hormones so it’s like it only wants to release that one egg anyway 😅
The FET was up to two weeks for oestrogen only then you introduce progesterone when the lining is thick enough. That’s pretty much it but you do have to take all these until about 12 was pregnant if it works.
We did try naturally in between cycles but nothing. We’ve also started looking more at sperm health too as it’s so overlooked and can be the cause of issues too. Even normal sperm analysis doesn’t always mean there’s not an issue when you get an expert to look at it. We realised my partners varicocele had come back! I think this all could be factors in just one embryo as they always get to day 4 then arrest or degrade just before the blast. I always seem to get just the one that gets to day 5 - this time I got a 5 AA so am putting my all into this cycle as can’t afford to do more for a while. Plus, only the one embryo each time is very expensive!
How’s your journey been so far? Have you looked into LLLT. I started it just before this transfer and it actually boosted my follicle count! But it’s excellent for inflammation and boosting mitochondrial health. It’s basically low lever laser therapy and it’s been great for ppl with endo too apparently! It’s painless and relaxing.
Just look online for LLLT London/l - I saw a lady called RUtH Phypers! A lot of her clients are in fertility treatments xx
Oh wow, severe allergies, that sounds horrendous to deal with, bless you! Has your consultant thought any of it could be related?
Oh your poor partner, is it something that impacts sperm health? Can it be easy fixed?
Low AMH, that must be so frustrating. Could you try the natural IVF, where they only focus on 1 egg a cycle?
So pleased for you that you get one blast though, expensive but still very hopeful giving you a chance ❤️🤞. 5aa is great, really hope this is positive for you!
Will have a look at the LLLT, thank you.
Our journey has been blessed so far, (though took a year to get started) I'm 40, partner 37, all ICSI, 17 eggs retrieved, all mature, 15 fertilised, 8 in the freezer and one transferred fresh on 5th. We are so so so so grateful. I feel bad telling you my numbers with your struggles ♥️.
Not at all. I think some people are just better candidates for IVF and I’m not one of them. I didn’t bother to test the 5AA as only had one but apparently if I did ever do it again and get more than one (not likely) I should PGTA test them the clinic said.
That’s such amazing news and so happy for you! When you pay that much you just want to to work as best it can.
I’m 39 so I doubt my picture will change much, but had low AMH since I was 36 according to results.
Yes, varicocels can cause issues with sperm DNA frag. We did use Zymot and ICSI but only due to low egg number not a known male issue as such. We didn’t know about the varicocele then so good job we did ICSI and Zymot.
I may do a test for NK cells in bear dirtier depending on the outcome.
Really wishing you all the best with this. I’m sure it will work out and it’s great you have ones in the freezer 💜💜
Yes understand the fear! I’ve tried to explain it to family but they don’t seem to understand, I go between wanting to test right now to being scared to test at all!
I know the feeling. I haven’t actually told mine the OFD I just said mid august as I’m always scared to tell people :/ it’s silly but I feel like they’re going to be so disappointed if it’s negative and I hate that. Like it’s all riding on me but of course I know that’s just how all this makes you feel. I don’t think you can fully understand unless you’ve been through this.
I really wish you the very best. I get how hard it is! 💜
