Feeling nervous

Scheduled for our first frozen embryo transfer tomorrow slightly worried that our little embryo won't survive the thawing process.

nahhhhhhhhh don’t think about that there is no reason at all and it is quite rare. Are you embryos PGDed? I made 6 transfers total and it never happened to me. It is like if you were scared of being hit by a car. Yes it could potentially happen, the % are extremely low and there is no point thinking about that. The transfer will go amazing - it will be much shorter and simpler than what you have in mind - and you will hopefully get a nice +

Thankyou I guess it's just natural to over think I've not been feeling too bad up until now feeling nervous I'm not sure what PGDed is ? Is this a standard thing. My IVF is NHS funded xx

Then your embryos are not biopsies, which makes the chances of your embryos not surviving even lower!

I remember worrying about this too, but these days it is very rare for it to fail the thaw. All the best for when you get the call and the morning and hope the transfer goes well, good luck!

Think positive. I remember having that thought and all the stress and nerves at every new stage of the process. it will be fine! Wishing you all the best xx

I'm in the same boat as you this morning. Also waiting for the call before my first FET at 11.30am 🤞. My fresh transfer failed so I'm really really hoping this is little embryo will be sticky. Wishing all the best today xx

I was the same. I had my FET @12:30 today. They thawed out lovely and with assisted hatching, 1 was hatched and the other was hatching too. We also used the embryo glue. Good luck ladies🍀
