Effective Ways to Reduce Uterine Inflammation from Endometriosis for Improved Embryo Implantation”
Hi I have endometriosis, prior to my last ivf cycle I was given the Prostap injections over 3 months which puts you in a chemical menopause to see if it helped calm down any inflammation, it’s a long process, but I had success with that cycle. I can’t be certain if that’s what helped but it might be worth a try. I also took omega 3 supplements a month or so before & leading up to transfer. x
I done two months of prostap and also started 20mg prednisolone 5 days before transfer. My test was positive but unfortunately ended in an early loss.
My consultant only really likes prostap for adeno but I pushed for it and he let me try. I wouldn’t do it again the side effects are horrendous. Plus my friend is 30 weeks with stage 4 endo. She’s done no down reg and no steroids. So makes me question wether it does anything anyway xx
Sorry to jump in! Do you mind me asking if your friend is 30 weeks with an IVF conception? If so did she do a fully medicated cycle? I've read that synthetic estrogen can cause inflammation in those with Endo
Try an anti-inflammatory diet. Basically no sugar, processed foods and lots of veggies, green tea, fish, fruits and whole grains. Also daily yoga and prioritizing sleep. I also do a morning shot of ginger, turmeric and black pepper. In my opinion lifestyle changes can work wonders without any of the side effects.
Love that answer - how do you take turmeric please?
I take turmeric in the form of curcumin tablets. I also take resveretrol. Both supposed to reduce endo inflammation prior to FET x
