fertilized egg to good embryo from an average quality egg?
Hey, it's impossible to know at this stage. I had 11 mature, 6 fertilised by ICSI and 6 still in play on day 3 yesterday. You're a bit younger than me though so have a better chance of your embryos being chromosomally normal. Based on average stats you could get 2-3 blasts, you might be lucky and get more, especially if you've done ok before. Ask the embryologist the number of cells on day 3 (8 ideal), how even development has been and how much fragmentation there is - they'll be able to say how good they are. However things change quickly and so called poor embryos can do better sometimes. Hope all goes well for you 🤞You could get 6 if you're very lucky, you never know!💖x
Everyone is different but I think on average it’s ~50% stats wise.
Some examples in case it helps you. At age 40 a few weeks ago I got 7 eggs, 6 mature and 3 day 5 blasts (so exactly 50%). At age 37 I got 7 fertilised and 6 blasts. My friend at age 36 got 7 mature and only 2 blasts
so there really is a different between person to person and also even for the same person on a different round so it’s hard to predict. Wishing you lots of luck xx
