I had my lovely Embaby transferred yesterday, all exciting but trying not to get my hopes too high. There is so much online what to do what not to do , pineapple is good for you , then it’s not.
What’s is actually true?

Good luck!! I’m currently one week in my 2ww, the advice my nurse gave me don’t read anything online there nothing you can or can’t do it’s all nature and your body, so don’t work yourself up about stuff you read she said it’s all just speculation!
Just maintain a well balanced diet don’t do to much exercise but don’t sit in front of couch and keep positive!
I’m going a little crazy at ever little twinge I feel! Can’t wait till test date seems so far away! Xx
Mine was done last Saturday. I too have read about pineapple but it seems you can only have it at certain times and then mustn't have it at all because it will harm the whole thing. Then you must have Brasil nuts but elsewhere it was almonds, have nettle tea but stay away from it at certain point. All a bit confusing. I admit I have had some pieces of pineapple, but I would normally anyway.
From what I can gather there really is little we can do - its up to our bodies now and what is meant to be. I think a lot of these things/advice play on people's emotions unfairly. We are vulnerable enough as it is already with all the pumped up hormones whizzing around without thinking of the "if-only" I had eaten this , or sat like this, or massaged that it would work.
I have had a terrible cold since my transfer and I have been coughing like mad. I asked the clinic as I was worried the coughing would upset things and they said it should not effect things at all. Fingers crossed.
Faith in our bodies and staying as positive as possible is all that we can really do.
Very best of luck to you and take care xxx
The best advice I was given for the 2ww was just carry on with life as normal. For me that meant going to hot yoga a few times a week, continuing my vegan diet, meditation daily. I did eat a whole pineapple - a quarter a day for four days after the transfer. Obviously no idea if it helped really, but I did get pregnant. Best of luck!
Same here I was told to carry on with life as normal . I’m getting close to OTD and it’s hard. Be positive I can say and I’m doing the same. Best of luck xx
I tried all the advice, like the pineapple, for 5 transfers. I had two bfps in those 5 which ended in mmcs before 10 weeks but with my 6th transfer I didn’t bother with any of it except for drinking lots of fluids and being sensible with activities. I got my bfp and I’m now 13 weeks pregnant ✨ My advice is to just be sensible and eat well, treat yourself (in moderation) drink lots of water and don’t do anything too strenuous xx
I must say I ve been obsessed wit Mac and cheese for last week, I never eat that tho but I crave it every day 😂😂😂😂
Ive tried all the daft things going for 4 transfers and this time I havent done any of the old wives tales and got a BFP....my first ever. I think just keeping hydrated, eating healthy and a little gentle exercise (such as going for walks) is as much we can do. Its all just a big lottery I feel. Just take it easy, keep the mind occupied as much as possible. Good luck!xx
I never touched a single pineapple or Brazil nut before my BFP (or since! 😂) I’m not aware of any really good clinical evidence for any of that. I did cut right down on sugar and processed food though, drank lots of water and basically ate pretty healthily (I’d already stopped alcohol & caffeine).
I didn’t exercise too vigorously and just went back to work (I have a fairly active job).
I think a lot of luck is involved but also just being as healthy as you can. Good luck! x
Laugh and be kind to yourself.
Eat well but if you fancy a chocolate, that’s ok too. Don’t stress yourself out
Good luck x
