I had an FET transfer last Tuesday and have been taking prognova since 1/11/24. Does anyone know if prognova stops your period to help with implantation? I’m due my period this week and was wondering if no period is expected with prognova? Or if no period is a good sign? Any information would be massively appreciated.
Thank you

I was on prognova also during my first fet back in May this year and was told it stops period but unfortunately I started bleeding and it was my period trying to break through in the end, so no pregnancy for me. Good luck I hope it works out for you 🙏🏼
Hi thank you for your reply. It’s much appreciated. I’m so sorry it didn’t work out for you. The information is mixed into whether it does stop a period or not. I guess each woman is individual. Are you hoping to pursue things further with fertility? We had a fresh transfer in June and I had a period after 8 days. People say cyclogest can stop periods too but mine broke through. This is now our second transfer but first FET. I hope you are taking care of yourself xxx
are you also on progesterone? These hormones are mimicking a pregnancy so CAN stop your period coming but it can still break through somethings. If on meds lack of period doesn’t tell us anything g I’m afraid in terms of has it worked or not due to the hormones the only thing that does is the test 🤗 good luck xx
hi there. Thanks for your response. Yes I’m on progesterone pesseries. Last time I was on these for a fresh transfer and my period broke through. Yeah the meds must be stopping my period. It’s so different for every woman. Test is due on Saturday so will just have to patient till then. I’m presenting no symptoms so working myself up a lot. Xx
I’m afraid lack of symptoms or symptoms doesn’t tell us much when on progesterone (and progynova) the wait makes us all a little crazy! Good luck for test day 🤗💜
