I was napping and my 32 lb son took a couch pillow and plopped his upper body on my stomach. This happened 4 hours after transfer. I yelled at my husband because he’s suppose to be watching him. I know the embryo typically floats the first day or two. Do you think this could impact implantation or hurt the embryo?

my son plopped on my stomach 4 hours post transfer
My 12yo stepdaughter was lying on my stomach the day of transfer as needed to unpick her braids. Didn’t stop babe coming in to the world! Good luck! X
This is a stressful time but try not too worry Take care of yourself

Not at all! But I think for your own mental health it's probably better to try and avoid situations like this (just so you don't look back and blame yourself if it's a negative result). However, realistically, that's very unlikely to have any sort of impact. I was really cautious after my transfers and my fertility counsellor rightly pointed out that women got pregnant during the holocaust and while working in the field. The embryo has one job, and that's to stick in. A little weight on your tummy for a couple of seconds isn't going to make a difference but, like I said, purely for your own sanity take it easy. Best of luck and I hope it's a positive result! X
no, there is lots of protection in the folds of the uterus, no harm will have been done. Your little embryo will be nestled in deep. I had norovirus 7 days after transfer and thought all that wrenching and vomiting would disrupt the embryo but it didn’t and she was fine. Good luck xx
