Hi, we’ve just had our first frozen transfer on Wednesday. Today (Sunday) I passed a blood clot like thing when I went to the toilet. I’m assuming this is the embryo sac or equivalent and means it’s been unsuccessful. There’s been no other bleeding but just wondered if anyone could confirm that’s what to expect with a failure?
Many thanks

I’m really sorry I would have no experience or knowledge on this. I would strongly advise you to call the clinic tomorrow if you’re concerned and explain your situation, it may just be implantation bleeding or possibly something else. I hope for good things for you take care xxx
Thank you. I called the emergency number today just to ask but all they said was it doesn’t look good but that it was strange that it happened so early. They said sit tight but that it wasn’t a good sign. Xx
I really hope it’s not the end for you darling stories like this just break my heart they really do hang in there can you not speak to your clinic it is quite early after transfer tho for this to happen xx our bodies go through so much it could be anything xxx
Thank you! I spoke to the clinic this morning and they said it could just be implantation or from the procedure itself. As it wasn’t accompanied by any other bleeding they weren’t too concerned. I’ve one week left until my blood test so hopefully just sit tight for now! Xx
