I had my d&c 8 weeks ago and decided to give this month a try naturally. This is my 3rd pregnancy, last was an mmc at 9 weeks and the first was a chemical. 3rd time lucky? Not sure those lines are strong but I'm only 1 day late 🤪
I only emailed my clinic this morning to see about transferring my final embryo!
I will never understand why I didn't get pregnant when I was trying at 36 y/o and 6 embryos transferred via ivf and now at 43 my body is finally figuring it out!?!?!
I know so many people on here would love to see those double lines, but I just get filled with dread. At my age, the chances of it progressing aren't the best.
I must be the only person on here that actually just thinks oh no,here we go again when I get a positive test.
Anyway I had a SKIN full of cocktails and drinks at the weekend and feeling very stupid now! I'd taken a test on Wednesday of last week as I got my weekends mixed up and figured I wasn't pregnant when i got the negative 🙃

Amazing news. No more 🍸 🍹 and enjoy your pregnancy. Get your hcg done by GP if you can. I got a dye stealer and was almost convinced I was having twins lol. So early and your lines look super dark xx

Yes gp first call in the morning to see where I'm at. I'm just dreading it all and getting bad news but I've been through the worst now and I've survived it so I know I can do this.

You definitely can do this. Stay positive, I know it's hard... I've been through full-term loss (stillbirth) so totally understand how you may feel in your first trimester. Speak to your GP about repeating your hcg blood tests and mention your age etc. Complete the form for maternity exemption once pregnancy is confirmed by hcg blood test. Then see if you can get some cyclogest pessaries free on prescription...just in case you need them for extra progesterone into your uterus xx
Oh goodness, you've truly been through the worst my love. That's horrible for you and wow what strength to get through ypur pregnancy, it's so hard isn't it!
Yes I have some pessaries and steroids so I'll start those tonight!
Yes and full of anxiety after what I went through in 2020...but got there in the end with my little rainbow baby.
Great that you have meds on standby, I'm so happy to hear this. I remember you from last year, I had a different username but deleted it as I was so upset and triggered. I created a new account once I was pregnant.

Gentle congratulations to you, really so pleased for you. Our bodies are funny things and don’t follow the patterns which seem logical.
Just wanted to say, you are not alone in thinking ‘here we go again’ pregnancy after loss can be excruciatingly difficult. I’m 44, 22 weeks along and think that every appointment I go to someone is going to give me bad news, every single day has been a struggle but I’m fighting through a day at a time. So don’t beat yourself up, when you’ve travelled the heartbreaking road that lots of us have on here, it’s normal to feel dread or anxiety or similar when we get pregnant . There’s lots of help out there along the way, the mental health midwife at my hospital has been wonderful.

eeeek I know you will be worried and I do know the ‘here we go again feeling’ all too well but I am excited for you lovely and really hope this is the one! Dont worry about the booze whatsoever before 8 weeks it doesn’t effect the baby and if anything there are so many people who hey pregnant that way it must help to relax us or something! That's really lovely....but I still had a positive test weeks after my D&C...the pregnancy hormone takes ages to leave your system naturally after this procedure

Hcg over 300 so gonna do a repeat on Thursday and see where we are at. I think last time it was at 160, but hcg can be all over the place so we will just take it as it comes! I think that's strong for 4wks 2 days?

Hey Joey. Really lovely to see your update. I don't think it's unusual at all to get feelings or worry and anxiety, you have been through a lot and it is difficult to balance everything. You want to be hopeful but you are fearful. Makes total sense to me as I am the same. Wishing you so much luck with this one xx
