Positive ovulation test with clomid

I'm on my second cycle of clomid and have had my first ever positive ovulation test. Which made me feel quite excited for the future, but now I'm freaking out at whether ovulation tests are actually accurate and am I just getting ahead of myself 🤦🏼‍♀️ any advice please x

If you are using a reputable brand there is no reason they wouldn't be reliable. Cheap Amazon ones are generally ok for everyday testing but I always followed up with clear blue to confirm the positive. I also had a very short positive ovulation window both cycles I peaked during the day around lunch time but morning pee was negative, next morning was negative so worth considering for future cycles. Clinics don't like midday testing but I'm currently 12w5d with our pregnancy after ovulating at midday. X
