Hunger on FET cycle

Hello everyone!

I’ve just started my first ever FET cycle and it’s currently day 5 of the estradiol tablets. Anyone else on a FET cycle now?

Since the 2nd day I’ve been so incredibly hungry all the time! I eat and then an hour later I’m STARVING again where normally I could go without eating for 4-5 hours. So bizarre and I know I definitely don’t need to eat but have to snack in order to get rid of the nagging hunger. I do also feel nauseous if I don’t eat and the nausea really hits at night.

If anyone has had a similar experience would love to hear!

hello! I’m on day 11 of estradiol in my first FET cycle. I’ve felt nauseous on about 4 of the days so far, around late afternoon/early evening. I’ve actually lost my appetite a bit and then having random waves of hunger. I’ve also woken in the night quite a few times and struggled to sleep. The nurse advised to take the tablets in the evening so that side effects would happen in my sleep and affect me less so I’ve been taking them daily between 9.30-10.00pm. Sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s general underlying stress from the mental part of the cycle and what’s the meds :)

What time are you taking the tablets and are your side effects occurring at certain times?

Good luck with your transfer and beyond!

hi LittleSmall ! I’m excited for you. Do you already know when your transfer will be?

Seems like taking the tablets in the evening might have helped. I was told to spread the tablets out but take them with food so taking them with breakfast at around 7, lunch around 1pm and dinner around 6-7. Don’t know if it makes any difference to how well they work. One night I took the tablet before bed to empty stomach and couldn’t sleep because I felt so nauseous.

I’m completely okay and will get through it, not really complaining I just find it interesting and want to know if anyone else has felt the same.😅

It is always nice to share experiences I think! My clinic advised taking them all at the same time because it means that I won’t forget to take one and no mention of with food so who knows 🙃 my second scan to check my lining is Wednesday 4th September and if all is well then I’m guessingFriday or Saturday for transfer.

It’s much more of a passive process so far (obviously without having to inject each morning) so think it will start feeling more real again in the next few days.

I hope your hunger pangs subside and all goes well in the coming weeks x

Ah so excited for you! I have a scan on the 4th also and transfer planned for about a week after if all looks good.

Would love to hear how you are feeling throughout/how it all goes if you are comfortable sharing.

I’m praying for the best possible results for us both 🙏🏼
