Has anyone had a cancelled cycle due to fluid in the womb? I was taking Letrozole between days 2-6 of my cycle, I then finished my cycle as normal but started to bleed again 2 days later. This has never happened before I think the letrozole caused it but have been told that is not the case but this month my cycle has been fine no stopping and starting with letrozole not taking.

Cancelled Cycle
hello
I had a cycle cancel due to fluid, in my uterus and around my tubes.
Unfortunately this outcome was due to a damaged fallopian tube due to endometriosis. The fluid comes from the damaged tube, and is toxic , so it wouldn’t be a good idea to transfer whilst it’s there.
(resulted in the removal of my tube, not all is clear)
I haven’t taken letrozole so can’t comment on the bleeding/medication.
Hope you have some more answers! Sorry if my reply is negative but certainly I’m feeling positive for my next transfer now this is resolved!
Good luck x
Oh my goodness sorry you went through that x They didn’t look into it, just said it was around my lining could’ve been left of cycle fluid. I hope that’s all it was, maybe I should booked in with my own GP see if they could In investigate further x
Glad you feeling positive, good luck 🤞
I had a cycle cancelled due to fluid around and on my endometrium which was found during an ultrasound scan. This was my 5th IVF cycle and third frozen cycle. All cycles before this and the frozen cycle after were fine. I think it can sometimes just be bad luck.
You could be right there x
