Has anyone used counselling before the received donor eggs. I am waiting for FET and unsure if I need counselling, don't know how I feel apart from very emotional.

Counseling re Donor Eggs.

hi Cheeky_84, also in the middle of arranging my first cycle using DE. I know there is a lot to think about and process. My clinic ensures that the first stage of the process is dedicated counselling before signing you off for a DE journey. They go through practical considerations and is a safe space to support your own individual thought processes. I found it really helpful. Your clinic should have some dedicated counsellors you can contact.
Wishing you all the best on your journey.
P.s I’ve also joined the Donor Conception Network and they offer a lot of various ways to support people.

Hi. IF you’re interested, there is a brilliant charity called the British Infertility Counselling Association They deal with all aspects of fertility, and relationships while going through treatment. There is a charge, but have a look and see what you think bica.net
