hello there I’ve been trying to conceive for a while now & I do have pcos. I have been tracking my ovulation but i could never get a peak or maybe I just missed it. I use clear blue test & it just keeps giving me high but never peak. I’m helpless here because this is what I want more than anything . This cycle we had sex just about every other day of my ovulation cycle. Last night I had cramps & my body was hot and I was nauseous but when I tested it just gave me high again so idk. Any tips

Hey, I have polycystic ovaries and it was a nightmare tracking ovulation. I had the same problem as you when some months it would show that I'm ovulating and others I wasn't. My consultant recommended that I start taking Q10, but I didn't notice too much of a difference - it may have improved my egg quality though. Have you spoken to a fertility consultant? It might be worth getting in touch with a clinic who can get your bloods checked X

Hmmm that's a tricky one. Obviously I don't know how long you've been trying and whether you'd contemplate IVF. If it's any consolation people with PCOS generally have a really good response to IVF medication (they managed to collect 21 eggs at my last egg collection). Just to reassure you if you do end up having to go down that route X

Hi,

I have PCOS and extremely long/irregular cycles (90+ days). Prior to seeing a gynae I tried tracking to see if I ovulated and I had the same, I had higher readings but never a peak and never ovulated. Have you seen a gynae? Have you had blood tests? They would be able to tell you if you’ve ovulated. As CyclingAddict said, IVF might be worth considering or if you see a fertility specialist they might be able to give you clomid/letrozole to make sure you ovulate. Good luck 🙂

Hello, I also have PCOS. The ovulation strips never worked for me. My fertility consultation said to not use as not helpful for me and my PCOS and unsure if I actually ovulate. Due to start ovulation induction shortly so will ovulate!

Hi. I don’t have polycystic ovaries but those clear blue ovulation tests never worked for me nor did the cheapie line ones but the clear blue pink digital ones did- it’s a ⭕️ for no lh surge and 😊 for lh surge. Also some people see their surge at different times of day- it is also important if not using first urine of the day to try to hold off peeing for 3/4 hours as it needs to concentrated. Mucus should also clue you when near ovulation- when you see egg white consistency of mucus is at your most fertile time of month and usually indicates ovulation is very close. That said my ex fertility dr told me to “ ditch the sticks and buy a nice bottle of wine instead!” 😂 I never did ditch the sticks! He also suggested trying between day 10-18 of my cycle and that way I had covered the most likely time to fall pregnant. Roughly counting backwards from last period by 2 weeks should indicate when you last ovulated. Good luck with this cycle hope it’s a bfp soon . I would say you covered the fertile time well 👌🏻it took us 7 years & 3 surgeries to treat my endometriosis ( was undiagnosed for 5 years 10 months of our etc journey) but we conceived our eldest daughter who is now 5. Miracles do definitely happen 😊Xx

Aww bless you that is a lot. 😌 After having my last surgery I have taken Serrapeptase as it helps eliminate any scar tissue from previous surgeries also it’s helped ease my endometriosis my symptoms are so much better taking it! Obviously I stop taking it when confirmed pregnant. Someone on here suggested it to me who also had endometriosis. Xx I’m sure it will be you soon telling others how you had success and to keep going never give up ❤️ Xx
