Anyone here who was prescribed prediniasolone 10mg thrice a day after positive bhcg and had successful pregnancy?

I had 6 previous losses. My doc didn't prescribe prednisolone but one of my relative who is a gynec asked me to start it thrice a day as i have a history of recurrent miscarriages. Im aware of this med being a steroid n im confused whether to start or not. As i read abt it's side effects. Please share your experiences

I had it until 12 weeks and now have a little girl. I started weaning off it at ten weeks to finish completely by 12 xxx

Hii . Congratulations... Did you have any symptoms in pregnancy? And any side effects due to predinisolone? Also how much dosage did you have?

I started up at 60 then went down to 20 then 10. I had no symptoms at all at the start of pregnancy. The steroids made me hungry a bit grumpy and at the high dose I had bizarre dreams/ hallucinations at night. But honestly it wasn’t a problem at all xxx

I took 25mg per day for 12 weeks and then started weaning off. I was also on other immune suppressants for high natural killer cells. The steroids were fine - they gave me lots of energy in early pregnancy and suppressed other unwanted pregnancy symptoms. I am now 21 weeks pregnant.

hello, I had 25mg on day 8 of my cycle until 12 weeks (had to be weened off) 18 weeks pregnant at the moment.
