#IVF 3 (FET Round 2): Cyclogest Question

I am due to start the cyclogest pessaries soon (oh the joy! 🙈) but my clinic didn't specify a time. They just said once in morning and once in the evening.

Did your clinic say what times in AM/PM to specifically take the pessaries? I start work at 8am and would prefer rather not to do it at work (our work toilets are grim, lol). Thank you in advance! x

I usually try to space mine out....so 7am then 7pm, give or take and hour. My clinic also didnt specify exact times but made sense to me to space them out equally.xx

I’m pretty relaxed when it comes to timing with cyclogest and it’s never done me any harm - in fact my body has never bled while I’m taking progesterone. I usually take my morning one when I first wake up so I can stay in bed for 30 mins so it has time to absorb and then my night time one I take when I get into bed at night. I can’t wait to be able to stop them though I hate those things!!

Hiya - yayyyyyyy time for pesseries!! I usually set my alarm 30 mins early (6.30am) and pop it in and go back to bed for 30mins. Then in the evening once I know I have 30 mins of nothing to do I pop one in and lie down - this might be 8 or 9pm. Its good to try and space them out but I wouldn't worry too much if they not 12 hours apart. x

Hello. I’m quite relaxed with the cyclogest and my clinic also did not specify a time but I try and take the second after 12 hours x

Thanks Manu. Yesterday I wasn't able to space them 12 hours apart but not going to beat myself up. Will really try tho! :) x

My clinic didn’t say a time but said they need to be 12 hours apart, I went for 7:20 am and pm to fit in with work xx

I am normally on the road at that time! So have opted to do it at 6ish AM and then 7PM. Thank you :) x

I’ve just started them yesterday after an egg collection. Same advice as the above for me, try if possible for 12 hours but timings are a little flexible. I’m aiming for 6am and 6pm, sometimes I will be in my car so will be a little out xx
