Hysteroscopy or not?

I have had two hysteroscopies on my last two transfers. One transfer worked and the last one failed.I am now having to start all over again with a new egg collection and my clinic have just added it onto my quote which increased the cost by around £1600 not including my flights and accommodation to get there.

My question is should I do it or not? They have not found or done anything during my last two and I can't help but feel it's just another money spinner for the clinic?

Any advice?

It makes no sense to me to do repeat hysteroscopies? I've had one once to remove a polyp, but I don't understand why you would keep doing them for no specific reason x

Thank you for replying. Yes they seem to use it as a cleaning process and ehike that is OK. I have no medical reason to have one!

I was told a hysteroscopy works as an endometrium scratch too, and in a sense, that helps implantation. Could you ask for an endometrium scratch instead? It would be less than half the price.

I can certainly try! All very expensive once flights and accommodation are taken into account! Looking at other clinics too now.
