I’d like to know, has anyone experienced any bleeding prior to OTD as a result of Clexane? I tested positive today at 8dp5dt (naughty testing early I know!) but have this afternoon had some bleeding. I’ve been advised to continue meds as normal but remove the 75mg aspirin from daily schedule. I want to remain positive; I do - but very very hard

It’s been a mix really - started brown spotting, got heavier, a rusty colour I would say but there has been spots of red. I continued my Cyclogest last night and this morning and it’s slowed down but I have been horizontal for hours sleeping so will have to see how gravity changes matters today I guess 🫣
I know there is always hope but I’m always been a realist. My miscarriage last year was very different to this but then it was a few weeks later; I’m assuming they this is a chemical and period arrived. If anything positive does change I’d think it were a miracle.
I have one more round paid for in a package but then because of finances and my age (40) I’ll have to leave it be
I don’t think it’s caused by the blood thinners themselves but if you are on them and bleeding and it continues they ask you to stop as it can exacerbate it by not letting the blood ‘clot’ to heal. It’s obviously not ‘normal’ to bleed when pregnant but it so really common especially in IVF pregnancies and can be caused by several things (irritation of the cervix, implantation and in my case it was a subchorionic hematoma) I know it is really scary (and congrats on the BFP 🫶🏻🙌🏼) but it can absolutely have a happy ending as I’ve been experienced it myself 🤗💜 xx
I have a call with my clinic shortly. I’ve not taken my aspirin this morning and there’s no sign of red/ fresh blood today “yet” but my body does kinda feel ‘period like’ if that makes sense. My boobs were really tingly all last night - it sucks that because it did implant there hcg in my system giving me some waves of ‘pregnant’ but the bleed doesn’t match.
I couldn’t say it was spotting. Although I do really get confused about spotting vs heavy as surely there is a massive in between as we’re all so unique. It felt like a rush of blood really, first brownish, then a few strokes of red and now rusty - I’ll have to ride it out but as you can tell from my early testing I don’t have much patience 🫣
Honestly I had bleeding until 10weeks that started at 7days (I also tested at that point) and at times it was like a crime scene and had huge clots and my little boy was still fine, I have of course had it go the other way and been a misccariage (with and without bleeding) so I know it’s not always a good outcome but honestly whilst there is HCG and until they tell you otherwise there is a chance my lovely. Are you getting scanned? Xx
I can’t get scanned - my OTD is Saturday- I was naughty and impatient and tested early. I’ve been told I have to keep patient and test on Saturday- inform the clinic of the result Monday morning and will then he called in for bloods. It’s so hard to not always think the worst. Appreciate your responses x
I had both bleeding and spotting from 7dp5dt until 7 weeks pregnant. I was taken off aspirin and then clexane until 12 weeks. Everything was fine and baby is now here. Bleeding is incredibly common with ivf pregnancy, even more if on aspirin and clexane. There’s a chance it’s a Subchorionic hematoma which is what mine was. Wishing you lots of luck!
Gosh that must’ve been so nerve wracking for you. The good news is I’ve kept busy this morning and went for a short walk to enjoy the sunshine and no sign of any more bleeding - so maybe I ought to have a little faith x
yeah it was awful and scary but yes it kept stopping which I counted as a big positive. If it starts again try not to worry too much (easier said than done!) just try and keep positive .
