12dpt negative blood test, doc asked to keep meds for more 5 days and retest. Anyone?

hi all,

this is my second Fet, on the first I tested on day 10pt and got 9ml for hcg, on 12pt I got <1 and of course the same on 14dp. O believe I had a chemical pregnancy. Now it’s the second fet and I tested negative on 12pt, doctor might believe in late implantation as he asked me to keep taking the medicines for more five days and test again. Has anyone been fortunate with a positive after this kind of situation? If not, also please share.

I have always found that a negative on day 12 is a negative unfortunately. Especially a blood test. So sorry

There might be others on here who have had late implanters but in my experience after day 12 there's not much hope.

What upsets me the most is to keep taking the meds… I really don’t understand my doctor.

I’m the same as Millbanks, we had a number of rounds and if it was negative at 12dp they usually just took me of the meds and that was game over. I had a few chemicals where it was a low number and they kept me on meds for a couple more days. But if the blood was negative we were just told to stop xxx I hope your ok xxx

a negative at day 12 has always been a negative for me (at home urine test ) im so sorry and a blood test should be even more accurate 😢 I don’t know why they would put you through all that xx

Exactly, today is day 14pt and I just made a urine test, it’s negative, I will stop the meds.
