I’m so curious! And were results the correct ones?

I tested on my test day - 11dp5dt. So far it seems correct. I would definitely have tested early, but didn't buy a test until day 10 to try and stop this and it was torture.

I’ve had seven transfers - six of them fresh.

Generally I found the trigger stayed in my system until 6dp5dt so any positives up to then weren’t real, but then 7dpt positives were, although they ended up chemicals and miscarriages . With my FET I had a BFP at 4dpt.

In hindsight I wish I had just tested on test day because even if it’s positive you just obsess about line progression etc. testing on test day would save you a week or so of that anxiety x

What’s a trigger didn’t do that I think

I tested on test day for the 1st 3 transfers, this time I did test early but that was because I was bleeding. My trigger said it would last 10 days and I started bleading on that 10th day, 3dpt and carried on with a full period eventually well before test day so I wanted to confirm that in dedd I was out for this cycle. Find what works for you though, everyone and every transfer cycle is different. Good luck.

Best idea to check on the date the clinic gave you -OTD so to speak .Keep busy - eat well and drink plenty of fluids Take any meds you were given as directed

Good luck for the future

I waited and tested on my OTD - which was Day 12. I’m not going to lie - the 2WW was difficult. I was continuously symptom spotting, and Googling furiously! But, personally, I didn’t see any point in testing early. If it was negative, I would have been upset and stressed out for the rest of the 2WW, and praying that the result was going to change. If it was positive, I would probably have thought that it was a mistake because it was so early - and then been stressed out for the rest of the 2WW. I figured that the most sensible thing to do was to wait for OTD - because then the result would be definitive. I actually had to force myself to test on my OTD - because I liked living in ignorant bliss! Good luck x

This is me too! Wait to test day given. I can imagine the stress it would give me if I tested before. Waste of tests too I feel and it is not like you can change anything. What will happen will happen - so I like the PUPO bubble too! 🤞🧡

I never test - 7 transfers (fresh and frozen) I just pootle down to the clinic on test day and get my bloods done. I usually just book it on the transfer day and have something to look forward too during the 2WW. I think if you are testing at home it should be first day of a missed period? Or if a 5 day transfer then test 10 days after?

Hope this helps.

For my past 5 transfers I’ve always tested from 7days after 5day transfers (or 9 days past 3 day transfers), but I had a chemical last year where I had two positive tests at home but my 9day bloods showed pregnancy wasn’t viable and it’s totally changed my approach. This time I’m waiting til test day (which for new clinic is 10dp5dt) which will be Thursday. I already know it will be a negative but I wouldn’t put myself through early testing again x

I always wait until OTD as feel like an incorrect result before that would just stress me out.

I've done testing out the trigger shot to (latest I held out) 5dp5dt. So I am absolutely useless at waiting. My earliest BFP was 3dp5dt on a FET. The results have always been accurate for me whenever I've tested and the lines have lasted through OTD, so it wouldn't have made any difference if I'd waited. I also get HCGs done as soon as I have a BFP so I know where I stand and if it's viable or not. That won't be for everyone and maybe it would be nice to get a BFP on OTD and then stop testing and worrying, but I've had it not work out too many times and I want to be realistic. I also want to know if there's been implantation even if it doesn't last in the end as it's an extra diagnostic in a way. It's entirely your decision and each way has its pros and cons.

I’ve done testing early and waiting till OTD day and for me testing early just stresses me out when it’s a BFN and I have to wait till OTD for a definitive result, so this time I’m waiting 🤞🏼

Hi I tested on 8dp5dt just because one day before I started to bleed ( I thought it was over)but next day it was gone. I didn't even have pregnancy test at home purposely because I didn't want to test myself earlier. They were two lines by that point.

hello, I usually wait until OTD unless there’s bleeding or if OTD falls on an office day and I want to avoid disappointment (I work hybrid). Xx
