Allergies and fertility issues?

Hi there

Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm looking for some info. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a connection between allergies and miscarriages. I suffer from a lot of allergies from dust, pollen, cats, dogs, horses, etc which is a lot. I've been managing them with medication and even then end up with allergic reactions every few months. I end up needing steroids and antibiotics because the swelling in my throat won't go away otherwise. It only effects my breathing every time.

I was chatting to someone about my fertility experience and I was told this could be related. So I thought I should come here and ask you ladies for your opinion.

TIA 💜

there is a link between allergies/atopy/autoimmunity and immune issues affecting implantation/miscarriage. Geoffrey Sher’s stuff is interesting to read/listen to and Alan Beer’s book “Is your body baby friendly”. I had testing via Warwick implantation clinic and found to have high NK cells.

Hi, I’m under recurrent miscarriage & I am taking steroids, blood thinners, antibiotics & hydroxychloroquinesulphate which is to treat any auto immune conditions. Maybe you can get a referral on the NHS through your GP? Good luck 🍀
