Hi everyone

I’m going to the cinema to see a film tomorrow called Private Life. Go on YouTube and look at the trailer! Looks like they do or consider ivf and donor eggs in it x

This is one of those netflix funded films that's being shown in some cinema's but its also on Netflix now. Looks very interesting I'm a huge fan of Paul Giamatti, I'll be watching this tonight with my wife.

I watched it with my wife and I think films like this are really good for showing the harsh reality of IVF.

I wish we had watched this years ago before we started on our IVF journey. Like One Shot, it doesn't show the media friendly image of IVF that it's a miracle cure, and how bloody hard it is. Most private clinics wouldn't want new patients watching this, although its the truth. x

Thank you! I watched it yesterday with my husband, hoping that he starts to understand what this all means to us. And despite the rather depressing topic it was quite entertaining as well.

It's great that these issues are being brought to the mainstream. I had no idea fertility issues were so common until I had them myself and came across this network. I feel so much less abnormal! Thanks for letting us know about this!

Downloading now for watching over the next few days. I also need to find some light hearted actually funny comedy or feel good programmes / films to watch over the next few weeks. Any suggestions?

I still need to watch it and will try tonight.

I watched 'nappily ever after' on Netflix that was quite good and light hearted, I'm also in to Marvel movies and could watch those films day and night even though I have seen each one countless times. xx

Oh, that's a good idea. Live a bit of escapism. Thanks xc

I will look at them. I am quite a weepy person so if there is anything like Beaches or suchlike then I will need to avoid as I hate blubbing my eyes out in public places he he xx
