Phew 😮‍💨 made it to transfer!

No question really but since noone at all knows we are trying for a sibling this forum is a god send for me to share on.

After the worst egg collection and fertlised eggs yet I was absolutely petrified we would have nothing to transfer today but we did. I was literally shaking I was so happy/surprised when the embryologist called.

6 eggs collected, 4 mature and 3 fertilised. Day 3 update was 2 developing normally and we were asked if we wanted to do a double transfer then or wait to day 5. We waited and I dreamt all night that there was nothing to transfer.

Both made it to blast 🥳🥳🥳

So we have a 4AB on board and a 3AB in the freezer. IN THE FREEZER! We’ve had nothing to freeze for the last few collections so I’m over the moon. We were offered a double transfer again today but decided to just try one at a time ☺️ McDonald’s fries eaten 🍟

Now the wait begins and the crazies will kick in soon so any 2WW buddies appreciated. For now though I’m staying in my happy bubble 🫧 😊 🤞🏽

They were good after all the healthy eating even had some halloumi fries too 🤣 although they aren’t part of the post transfer ‘myth’ I think they should be! Thanks so much xx

Haha good on you I would have done the same! Im trying to be good pre treatment and console myself after a stressful day refraining from a choccy biscuit😂 looking forward to seeing the light at the end of this looooong tunnel 🙈 xx

Aw bless you!!! Yay!! So happy for you! I have everything crossed!! 🤞🧡 We are just on our way for egg collection this morning! Feeling nervous! But will keep hope! I have been on the highest stims too, but although scan showed we are ready - there was only 3 large follicles, last time there was so much more! Age really does make a huge difference. Hopefully there will be good quality eggs in those 3! 🥰🤞

Easter is def well timed. Easter tea for sure, and lots of eggs without having to go through minor surgery to get them. I’ve also booked myself a massage cause I think we deserve all the post-transfer treats xxx

I am not sure how I am feeling to be honest. I feel like I am already pregnant but it is only day 1 after the transfer. I know, it is probably in my head, but I feel little bit bloated, so basically like pregnant. I know, the test could be negative

Yeah my boobs already hurt and bloating before I even had the transfer the progesterone pessaries are awful but at least I know they are working and it’s better than feeling totally normal eh 🤪 from my past experience it’s not j tik day 4 or 5 any real symptoms might kick in but even then with my little boy there were none until week 6-7! Xx

I’m sure you’ll have lots more in a day or 2. My little group of 2WW lovelies literally kept me sane. And checking in and chatting helped pass the time.
