Ivf again...has anyone else wanted to scream. Anyone had two successful Ivfs?

After a successful first ivf following 8 years of trying naturally we were so pleased to be having a baby girl. Sadly, she was born at 24+6 weeks and died aged 23 days. She was due on Easter Sunday and as it’s coming nearer I’m conflicted. We have been back to speak to the fertility team and they’ve suggested a scratch for Ivf and for a biopsy to check for hyperplasia. Plus last time I only had one embryo and zero frozen after 15 eggs were collected so he’s put me on the short protocol. Has any got any good success stories for when ivf has actually worked twice? Need positivity.

Dear hopeandhell. I have no experience of a premmie baby, but I just wanted to send you a message to say I hope you get through today. I can’t imagine what you are going through. There are lots of people where Ivf has worked twice. I’m not one yet, but hoping I will be one day. Lots of hugs x

I’m so sorry for your loss, it must have been incredibly heartbreaking. I have had two rounds of ivf after 6 years of trying and both were successful. I’m feeding my second baby son as I type. We’ve been very lucky, but it can and does happen. Good luck x

So sorry to hear about your little girl. I can’t imagine what you must have gone through. I have had 2 successful rounds of IVF. We have one fresh round which produced 4 blastos. The first (fresh) transfer was successful then it took all 3 remaining Frosties before I got my second BFP (1chemical and 1 BFN). During the time of trying for our second the consultant said that if you had had one successful round then the odds of getting pregnant a second time from IVF were better than someone who hasn’t been pregnant before because your body now knows what it’s doing. Good luck with your next round and I truly hope everything works out for you x

I am really sorry to read about your previous cycle. I hope this one works. I know so many people for whom the cycle worked the second time. I am one of them as well. My first IVF failed. However, on this second cycle, I did get a BFP. Therefore, dont lose hope. Sending baby dust your way.
