Stopped taking Estrogen at 6 weeks post medicated FET!

Wondering if anyone else had a medicated FET and was asked to stop taking estrogen once a heartbeat was detected at 6 weeks pregnant? I was told that I did not need them anymore. Anyone else experience this?

I went down from 3 progynova a day to 1 a day, a week before we had the FET as I was reacting so badly to it and my lining had got over thick and uneven. Then after I had BFP and the HCG looked to be going well I gradually reduced it further until I was just on progesterone. That was because my body is sensitive to oestrogen and apparently I had enough naturally, but they also said progesterone was the more important one. I think normally they ask you to stay on both to keep everything balanced but the dates for tapering off seem to depend on the clinic. If you're worried just speak to the clinic and hopefully they can explain the reason, or be ok with you staying on it if you want to.

Clinics seem to have different ideas about timing of stopping meds As 1st post says speak to your clinic/consultant about your concerns Hopefully that will put your mind at rest
