I did natural and had my FET transfer today. I used the clear blue early ovulation test and found it much easier than other tests with the digital system. I only tested first thing in the morning but if you test for a few cycles you start to pick up on the signs your body gives around ovulation.
I didn't respond well to medicated cycle and had to delay transfer. If you have a medicated cycle this means the transfer can be timed. With a normal transfer it has to synced with your cycle so the transfer is done at the stage after ovulation of your embryo. This is why they need to know when you ovulate to work out when you can have your transfer.
In terms of pros and cons the main pro of natural is if you have a regular cycle you can avoid more medication. The con of natural is medicated help you to have a better womb lining but this can be established when you scan. It also means you can decide on the timing of the transfer as it an be controlled which can be more convenient.
I have been given cyclogest pessaries although the doctor seemed to think the lining was good enough so only advised to take one a day in the evening after the transfer if I wanted to. I decided to do it as it can't hurt.
So nervous I could barely sleep last night. Thanks for the good wishes!
