How early can you test after trigger shot?

Hi there

I'm on my second cycle of letrozole and had a trigger shot on cd16. I'm just getting super impatient so preplanning when to test (I know i really can't help it!).

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I was told to wait 10 days after taking the trigger shot for my FET to avoid a false positive. I know the wait is challenging but I guess you have to weigh up against the risk of false results. Good luck!

Heya, I started testing the morning after the trigger shot so I could see the false positive, and when that false positive started to die down. I just bought the cheap pack of 20 strip tests from Amazon so I could tell when the HCG from the trigger died down. I have my ET on Saturday or Monday and have been testing positive since the day after the trigger on Tuesday.

7-10 days after the trigger shot. 7 days should be fine but isn’t for everyone but by 10days it will be. It does depend on what trigger you had and the amount though 🤗

Thanks you all for the info. You've been very helpful. Curiosity got the best of me cuz it's my first trigger shot cycle so I thought hell why not and went ahead and tested at 6pm and wow it's dark! Must be a lot of hcg left in me still 🙄

When i was told to test at home when I'm late I asked my consultant about doing a blood test instead cuz of the false positive the trigger shot gives out and I was assured it doesn't do that. Yet here we are 😂
