Any success stories with a slow growing embryo on day 5 and questions on symptoms day after transfer

Hi,

We had our day 5 embryo transfer but we were not given a grade as the embryo has not reached blastocyst stage. It was the only one that fertilised out of the 4 collected. They said the embryo seemed like a really good one but should I be worried that it’s growing slowly. It got a good grade on day 3 so we were surprised it hadn’t quite made it to blastocyst stage. Has anyone had positives with slow developing embryos?

Secondly, just wanting to know if anyone can relate to my symptoms. I have had really tender breasts the last few days but the day after transfer it has completely gone. I also had been quite constipated and gassy after egg retrieval. It seemed to resolve itself but now I am the opposite. I have been to the toilet loads for bowel movements today (sorry for too much information but I would rather be honest). I am also cramping now which I believe is from the bowel movements and not implantation. I’m wondering if these are signs for my period as I normally have a short cycle than normal.

Would be really interested to hear other peoples experiences. Thank you in advance for replies.
