norethisterone advise

hi all,

I’ve been started on norethisterone and to line up dates as I am going on holiday, they’ve put me on it for 4 weeks. However, I am now 15 days in and today have been bleeding heavily. Unfortunately the clinic is shut now till Tuesday - but I’m worried as it seems in now on my period, which will mess up all the dates scheduled

does anyone have any experience of this?

Thank you

I couldn’t comment as not had this experience, but would it be worth calling your emergency nurse line (if you have one?) xx

I recently got put back on it, I’ve only had one period which started day 5 after I stopped (I’m doing 2 wks on, 2 wks off). It was pretty heavy for about 4 days. That’s all as planned though, what did they tell you to expect?
