Hi Everyone. I’m trying to find out if anyone has been in the same situation. I had my FET transfer 15 days ago and tested negative yesterday and today. The clinic have said that if no period then to continue taking the Progesterone and to get a blood test done to confirm completely.
Has anyone experienced this and had a positive on blood test but still negative urine?

My clinic advises if on test day you test negative then to stop the meds. I can't see why it would hurt to continue your meds if you wanted to be certain. But this may raise your expectations. Because really a urine test should be picking something up by now.
Progesterone regularly stops a period, it has in 5 out of my 6 transfers. Its good to cover off a blood test ‘just incase’ but you’d generally find some form of positive on a urine test already by now. Really sorry x
I’m so sorry it’s negative 😢 by 15 days it would be a very obvious positive on a urine test by now, our clinic sometimes does advise an extra few days after of meds if no period and then another urine test but our OTD is 10dpt fresh and 12-13dpt with a FET so would still be before or on day 15 with the extra few days. I used to take the meds ‘just to be sure’ I had done all I could do so there’s defo no harm and they must have had some late positives to advise this but never in my experience I’m afraid. Really really sorry xx
I’m so sorry to hear this. Yes as others have said progesterone would stop a period (if it doesn’t then progesterone wouldn’t be high enough). Unfortunately it’s highly unlikely for a blood test to be positive if at this point urine is negative. Sending love and strength xx
