I'm desperately craving a coffee this morning! My transfer was last Monday and I've been drinking herbal teas mostly since but really want a coffee!! I know the IVF clinic's advice is to minimize caffeine/ no caffeine during 2WW but I would love to know what everyone else is doing/ how you are coping? Thank you x

I’ve been having one small cup each morning - it’s so needed because I’ve got terrible insomnia at night. I’ve read that one cup is okay right now but best to avoid it altogether in the third trimester. X
Hi, I'm currently 20 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I was drinking caffeinated tea during my 2 week wait as my clinic said one to two cups of tea or 1 cup of coffee is ok
I'm following the same rule - 1 to 2 cups of tea or 1 cup of coffee is within the NHS guidance. I've been having 1 cup of tea and a few cups of decaf or herbal tea and coffee per day. I have been on and off FETs and found it was easier just to stick to those limitations all the way through than try to "come off" coffee and tea for the 2 week wait only. I would say treat yourself 🙂
Oh I cannot live without caffeine! I need one good cup every day. And I did not stop that. Upto 200mg is the limit per day in guidance. 1 cup of tea/coffee will give you a max caffeine of 100mg.
Hello I get the craving trust me a chai latte please!! I’ve been have decaf coffee at home but it’s not the same as a costas or Starbucks I must admit coffee is the hardest one to cut out xxx
