I've been referred for IVF due to unexplained infertility. We'll be signing the paperwork, etc in a few weeks but in the meantime I'm trying g to do some research and be as informed as possible in hopes of calming my nerves!
I live in SE Kent and can't find much info on NHS funded IVF clinics in the area. The only one I know of is CARE in Tunbridge Wells. Can anyone help or give recommendations or share experiences?
Many thanks!!

Oh my word I’ve just posted something to pretty much the same effect! I’m sorry I can’t help you with your questions but I can say you’re not alone - I’m in exactly the same situation, just in a different area.
Good luck with your journey, please keep us posted xx
I live in Kent and only had the choice between Tonbridge and somewhere near Croydon (I think it was Croydon anyways?!) We live in whitstable so neither were that close so went for tonbridge.. It’s a lovely clinic and the staff are great.. We’ve had one fresh transfer that didn’t work unfortunately and am just about to embark on my first FET..
I can inbox you if you would like anymore info as I think we are quite restricted to openly posting too much about specific clinics.
Thank you! I'm in Faversham and lived in Whitstable for a few years. I'd appreciate some more info if you'd like to inbox me. And best of luck with your upcoming FET xxx
I live in south east Kent too and your choices are care tonbridge and bmi chelsfield in Orpington under the nhs. It is very well published but please prepare yourself that ivf funding for Kent is under consultation to discuss cutting it to 1 cycle. The timeline for this was for a decision to be made by July/ August time however I think they are delayed. I have contacted the ccg for an update but haven’t had one yet. I am about to start my second cycle. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me xx
My fertility clinic made me aware of the changes to funding and is quite keen to get things going for us before June and I assume this is why. Best wishes to you!
